Jim Green
Jr. graduated from the Florida State College of Law
with honors in 2007. He has been practicing law since
2007. He is a member of the Florida Bar Association,
the Florida Justice Association, the American Association
for Justice, the Escambia/Santa Rosa Bar Association,
and American Inns of Court. Jim is also the treasurer
of the First Circuit Justice Association. Jim primarily
works on personal injury and estate litigation cases.
During law school, Jim served as articles
editor for the Florida State Law Review. He booked Professor
Ehrhardt's evidence class and Professor Tahirih Lee's
advanced civil procedure class and also clerked for
the central staff of the First District Court of Appeal.
Jim's work experience includes the following: serving
as Professor Charles W. Ehrhardt's research assistant,
helping edit the 2007 edition of Professor Ehrhardt’s
book Florida Evidence, a work cited several hundred
times by Florida's Supreme Court and District Courts
of Appeal; serving as Professor Dan Markel's research
assistant, conducting research and editing work for
his forthcoming trio of articles providing a retributive
justification for punitive damages; and clerking for
the central staff of the First District Court of Appeal.
